The spirit of Autumn and I invite anyone in the Seattle area to join me learning to paint with watercolor (you never stop learning) on October 27, November 3, 10, 17, 24 and December 1, (all Tuesdays) from 6 to 8 pm at CandP coffee house, 5612 California Ave.SW, Seattle.
It is the best venue ever, and a mix of beginners and "old hands" are welcome. The experienced students will be given a reading assignment ahead and be prepared to dive in with painting while I give more specific guidance to beginner painters. Then I'll wander about, beer and paintbrush in hand, to guide the questing and comfort the despairing. We have a good time and it gives all of us a time to take a deep breath and focus on something besides our computer screens and family and boss's expectations.
We'll use Jan Hart's book, the Watercolor Guide to Exceptional Color, for text and assignments, and I'll send out the materials list when I know I have enough paying students(10). I need to know by Monday night , October 19, how many students plan to attend. If the class doesn't make, I'll start again in January...maybe with drawing.
If you want to confirm, notify me at [email protected] by October 19, and the fee for six classes, $120, can be sent to my address, which I will send to you upon your confirmation.
Hope to hear from a bunch of you! Thanks, Jennifer
