Mmmm, I do like that Daniel Smith Luna Black watercolor for mixing, drawing/painting/illustrating.  It granulates and doesn't stain....so it's perfect for modeling.

Here's "A Tree of Night" with compliments to Mr. Capote.  Somehow my tropical trees still look like Washington Maples.  I need to flatten out the crowns....the equator sun pushes down on the acacias to get  that distinctive shape.
