Here Comes the Judge

I steer clear of personal family stuff in this blog, but I do have to put this picture of my very distinguished and smart brother-in-law, John Henry right after he was sworn in as District Court Judge, standing in front of the picture of my Dad, Superior Court Judge Patrick McCabe.  My dad is gone now, but John has stepped into his own position in a line of attorneys in my family.  Before John became judge, he was practicing law in the same town as my father and my grandfather.  All three attended Gonzaga in Spokane, and I can truthfully say that I remember discussing ethical questions at our family dinner table.  I am very proud of my family and grateful for their love and support.

Here's a photo of my sisters and me with our beautiful niece Jessica on her wedding day.  Do we aunties look alike or what?  As they remind me, I am the OLDEST.
